Our pricing philosophy

You know the price before we start.

At N Appliance Repair, we believe appliance repair should not feel like a gamble. Too many companies send a technician, do the work, and then hand you a bill that is nothing like what you expected. We operate differently.

When our technician arrives, they diagnose your appliance and give you a firm, written quote. That quote covers all labour, all standard parts, and our 90-day warranty. The price you approve is the price you pay — nothing is added after the fact.

The $89 diagnostic fee covers the technician's travel and on-site assessment. If you decide to proceed with the repair, that fee is completely waived from the final invoice. If you choose not to proceed, you only owe the $89 diagnostic visit.

We do not charge extra for same-day service, weekend calls, or urgent appointments. Our prices are the same seven days a week.

Is the diagnostic fee waived if you proceed with the repair?
Yes. The $89 diagnostic fee is fully waived when you approve and proceed with the repair. The fee only applies if the technician diagnoses the appliance and you choose not to go ahead. You will never pay both the diagnostic fee and the repair cost.
Do you charge extra for same-day service?
No. We do not charge a premium for same-day appointments. The price quoted to you is the same whether you book for today, tomorrow, or next week. Weekend and evening visits are also charged at the same standard rate.
Do your prices include HST?
No. All prices listed on this page and quoted by our technicians are before HST. Ontario HST (13%) will be added to your final invoice as required by law. For example, a $200 repair would total $226 including HST.
What exactly is included in the repair price?
The quoted repair price covers the on-site diagnosis, all labour for the repair, and standard OEM replacement parts. The 90-day warranty on parts and labour is also included at no extra charge. There are no separate travel fees, call-out fees, or labour surcharges.
What if my repair needs a part that is not on the service van?
In the rare case where a specific part needs to be ordered, we will give you a firm quote including the part cost and schedule a priority return visit as soon as the part arrives — usually within 1–3 business days. There is no additional call-out charge for the return visit.
Will you tell me if a repair is not worth the cost?
Yes, always. If the repair cost approaches or exceeds 50% of the cost of a comparable new appliance, or if the appliance is at the end of its useful life, we will tell you honestly. We would rather lose a repair job than have you spend money on something that is not in your best interest.
